I’m the maker behind Soaps & Such, a mom of two, a small business owner, and someone who somehow decided that making soap in my kitchen sounded relaxing. (Most days it actually is… until someone spills something or asks me for snacks for the 47th time 😅)

What started as a creative hobby quickly turned into something I genuinely fell in love with. I’ve always enjoyed making things with my hands, and soap making became the perfect mix of creativity, self-care, and a little bit of science. There’s something really satisfying about turning simple ingredients into products people can use and enjoy every day.

At Soaps & Such, my goal is simple: create handmade products that are gentle, effective, and made with care. I believe skincare doesn’t have to be complicated or filled with things you can’t pronounce. Sometimes simple really is better.

When I’m not making soap, labeling products, packing orders, or cleaning up glitter/shredded paper/soap scraps from every surface in my house, I’m usually spending time with my family, cheering my kids on at their activities, or thinking about new product ideas at completely random times of the day. (Because apparently “normal sleep” is no longer part of motherhood or owning a small business.)

One thing I’ve learned through this journey is how much I love connecting with people through something handmade. Every order, every conversation at an event, every message of support—it truly means the world to me.

This little business is built with a lot of love, late nights, coffee, and probably more essential oils than any one person should own.
